Debasing Republicans Is My New Jam

I gotta be honest fam, I am thoroughly enjoying watching Republicans debasing themselves in every conceivable way.

Today Ronanon Johnson went full potato when he forced senate staff to read every single bit of the 600 page corona virus bill aloud. Of course precisely *zero* of the “fiscal conservatives” who will NEVER shut up about the government ‘wasting’ our tax dollars when Democrats are in control cared one whit about this profound squandering of money. At least if they set the millions of dollars it will cost ablaze, it would have warmed the senate chamber a little.

Remember Chuck Grassley years ago droning on about how important the ‘inspector generals’ are to the health of our democracy and when Trump started unloading them like golf balls in the drink how quiet he got about him firing them? Well it turns out he forgot one over in the Transportation Department where Mrs. Mitch McConnell was secretary and umm, guess what he done did? He made the first criminal referral of one of Trump’s secretaries to the Justice Department.

How do you think Merrick Garland is going to treat that referral when he gets confirmed next week? I guess that’s why Tom Cotton suddenly objected to Merrick Being confirmed huh?
