Republicans Are Enemies Of America

When I was much younger, I would try to tell my friends and family that Republicans were evil after having a lot of interactions of the southern Baptist kind. People are very different in private than they appear to be in church mind you. I saw them both places and none of it was good.

To me, it was obvious that these were bad people but I would be chastened and chastised for saying what was painfully obvious to me after ‘brother Tim’ told me that the reason why children got cancer was because god was punishing their parents for their sins. I said in front of my grandmother, ‘then your god is a sadist.’

She never forgave me for that either. She literally died mad about it.

But the truth is still the truth and it does not change no matter how much time passes.

Yesterday was Trump’s triumphant return to the political stage and a return to the evil that emanates from all the people at C-PAC. Lie after lie was told. How do we begin to even have a conversation with delusional people who think the elections in Republican-run states were stolen?

The truth is you can’t. You cannot have any kind of dialogue with people who abandon facts and tell lies with a religious zeal and it is religion now because religion is what allows people to forget facts and truth in lieu of faith.
