This Week In Republican Bullshit

Republicans have been busy all across the country introducing and passing new “election integrity” bills because we all know how much Republicans care about ‘election integrity’, especially when they lose one.

Here’s the various measures they have introduced to ensure ‘election integrity.’

Closing polling places in black districts.

Changing voting hours to 1pm to 5 pm.

Making it illegal to give drinks or food for anyone standing in line to vote.

Mail-in voting only for people over 75 years of age and overseas active duty personnel.

Ending automatic voter registration in all states.

That sure sounds like that should improve ‘voter integrity’ if you’re a moron of course.

Yesterday was the anniversary of Bloody Sunday when the police rioted against black protesters in Selma Alabama using indiscriminate violence including murder to stop black people peacefully protesting.

Since that horrible day in American History, there has never been a single protest of any kind by black people that racists found acceptable without something akin to, ‘shut up and play ball’ followed by the always predictable retort that ‘black people are racists too.’
